Following up on the joke about amusingly juxtaposed commercials on
programming, I offer the following true one:
A couple of years ago, a local television station was showing the film "Lust for Life" about Vincent Van Gogh. One segment was sponsored by Q-Tips, whose ad campaign then began one commercial break with an announcer saying "And now, a message for families with ears........"
